A big thank you to Hands on London Charity who once again provided the Charity and Ealing Council with some enthusiastic corporate volunteers to help with clearing and creating natural habitats at Hobbayne Half Acre Field.
Our volunteers cleared the path back and created some dead hedging at the entrance to Hobbayne Half Acre Field. The dead hedging will provide hiding spaces and nesting habits for all sorts of creatures as well as food for insects. As the dead hedge rots down the nutrients are recycled back into the earth.
A big thank you to Hands on London, our corporate volunteers and of course our ever-supportive local rangers.
